Bausch+Lomb has revealed details of its continued investment in speciality contact lenses following the acquisition of Innovative Sclerals in 2015.
Product development, dedicated resources and practice growth are areas of the business where investment has been made, said the company.
The team of professional relations consultants, led by Andy Elder Smith, has been bolstered with the addition of owner of Six Six Contacts, Graham Avery. The new commercial lead of the company’s speciality lens business said: ‘The growing speciality contact lens business has attracted a lot of attention from UK practitioners as they look to differentiate their business and offer contact lens vision correction for all their patients.’
