Bausch+Lomb gas permeable range widened

Bausch+Lomb has advanced its range of specialist lenses

Bausch+Lomb has advanced its range of specialist lenses by launching a new 28 Lens Zenlens DX set.

The gas permeable lenses are designed to correct vision problems associated with corneal irregularities and will be available in prolate and oblate designs in lens diameters of 16mm and 17mm.

To cater for particularly complex corneal issues, Zenlens also features Smartcurve technology which allows specific parameters to be modified to create a bespoke lens with better fit and wearability.

Toric peripheral curves, customised centre thickness, flexure controlling profiles and front toric Rxs can also be ordered if needed.

Bausch+Lomb business unit head Amy Rothwell said: ‘Scleral lenses are the fastest growing sector in speciality contact lens fitting and the launch of the Zenlens underscores Bausch+Lomb’s commitment to excellence and innovation in this important market.’
