More than 250 Rodenstock Club members attended a lunch and awards ceremony at the Rosewood London Hotel this week, with BBR Optometry picking up the top prize.
Guests at the luncheon were entertained by ‘The First Lady of Fleet Street’ journalist Eve Pollard.
BBR was named the leading Centre of Excellence at the event, winning a trip to Rome, and also scooped an award for its success in dispensing.
Burnett Hodd & Jenkins in Sidcup was named runner-up in the Centre of Excellence category, while Martin Steels in Emsworth came third.
Rodenstock managing director Niels Jensen (pictured top right) said: ‘As we have some of the best independent practices in the UK in this room today, it seems like an excellent idea that you exchange successful ideas and strategies to make yourselves even stronger as an independent group.’
