Nominees have been announced for the 2015 BCLA Industry Award – with members invited to cast their votes by the end of this month.
The five nominees for this year’s award were announced as being Francis Erard, Teifi James, Tony Martin, Steve Nemwan and Dr Paul Nicolson.
BCLA members were invited to cast their votes via an online poll by April 30, ahead of a presentation on the weekend of the BCLA’s conference in Liverpool on May 29-31.
The inaugural winner of the new award last year was Dr Paul Rose, inventor of the Rose K lens for keratoconus.
BCLA president Susan Bowers (pictured) said: ‘We look forward to receiving our members’ votes and to announcing, and celebrating with, this year’s winner during a fantastic and swinging 60s style evening at the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral next month.’
