Black & Lizars has appointed Geraldine Wood as its new managing director following the departure of CEO Mark Ross and supply chain director Alison Scammell.
Wood was previously the company’s chief operating officer and has been with the business for over twelve years, a statement said.
The Scottish optical chain, which has posted 20 per cent turnover growth over the last two years, said Colin Black remained as senior optometrist and supportive of Wood and the management team.
