Scottish multiple Black & Lizars has named Michelle Le Prevost as its new managing director, leading the company through what it described as the ‘next stage’ of growth.
Le Prevost has experience in the eye care, dental care and pharmacy retail sectors and has held senior positions in some of the UK's most well known companies, including Lloyds Pharmacy and Specsavers as head of project management. She succeeds Geraldine Meade, who joined Optical Express in February.
The company said the appointment came at a time when it was undergoing one of the most successful periods of its 185-year history. The Glasgow-based multiple, which has 24 practices in Scotland and one in Belfast – last year posted increased sales and profits (News 07.04.15).
