Scottish independent group Black & Lizars has helped a former rally driver overcome his eyewear challenges as he makes the move to karting.
The company, which is sponsoring Peter Stark this season, created specially adapted Oakley frames that he could wear comfortably under his tight-fitting crash helmet.
'When I tried to wear normal glasses under my helmet, they would dig into my skin. There was a lack of support, particularly around the nose. The helmet padding was pushing the frame all over my face. Now the comfort level is significantly higher which means I can focus on the racing. To be able to get such a closely fitting pair of glasses has been a great contribution from Black & Lizars,' said Stark.
