French sports eyewear brand Bollé has continued its involvement in professional cycling by signing a brand partnership with UCI pro cycling team B&B Hotels p/b KTM.
‘Bollé has a long and incredible success story with the highest levels of cycling and this year is a new milestone for us as today, not only our sunglasses, but our cycling helmets, will be worn by pro athletes,’ said Louis Cisti, vice president of marketing at the brand.
B&B Hotels p/b KTM was created in 2017 in Brittany, and managed 11 top-10 stage finishes in 2020’s Tour de France. Its riders will now be equipped with Bollé’s Lightshifter cycling frames that feature polarised, photochromic lenses.
The team's general manager, Jérôme Pineau, said: 'I can remember wearing Bollé glasses when I first started cycling. Being part of such an iconic brand with its roots cycling brings a lot of excitement to the team.'
