Booking opens for optical care courses

Applications have opened for the Scotland Level 5 and 7 certificates in optical care courses that are delivered by Insight Optical Training and part-funded by NHS Education for Scotland (NES).

Fees have been set at the same rate for another year, which meant employers would pay £300 for Level 5 and £250 for Level 7 per person, because of NES funding.

Anthony Blackman, managing director at Insight Optical Training, said: ‘We continue to receive good feedback from our learners and every year we make updates and additions to the training materials to make sure that they remain engaging, relevant and up-to-date. We are extremely pleased to be continuing our partnership with NES.’
