Insight Optical offers optical assistant training

Applications were open for Insight Optical Training’s Scotland Level 5 and 7 certificates in optical care, developed in partnership with NHS Education for Scotland (NES) Optometry.

The discounted courses have been offered and supported by NES for over a decade to give optical assistants the necessary skills and knowledge to support every patient.

Level 5 was an entry level qualification for those who hadn’t studied for a significant length of time, while Level 7 was suited to those who had been in optics for at least a year.

Fees included course materials, lectures, three materials workshops and assessments, supported by a training manual and personal tutor with qualifications endorsed by the NCFE.
