A Specsavers store manager has provided high visibility vests to pupils of his local primary school.

Seaford Primary School, East Sussex received 60 branded vests for children to wear in the dark mornings and evenings.

Chris Titherington (pictured), store manager of Specsavers Seaford, said: 'With fewer hours of daylight in the winter months, we wanted to play our part in helping the area's youngsters to keep themselves safe and also put any worried parents' minds at rest. After speaking to staff members and our customers that are also parents, we all agreed that local schools might welcome a donation of high visibility vests for the walk to school. The children were thrilled with their new jackets.'
