Specsavers Islington has invested £160,000 in a practice refurbishment adding two more test rooms and new equipment.
The practice held an event to mark the opening, raising £150 for a local mental health charity, and handing out cake, balloons and high-visibility vests to child patients.
Store director Bansi Sagar said: ‘We’ve been providing eye care in the community for the past seven years and now £160,000 has been invested into the store to provide an even better experience for our customers. We’re thrilled with the generosity of the local community for raising much-needed funds for Islington Mind – a charity close to all of our hearts.’
