There is growing patient demand for detailed information on eye care and optical products, according to marketing specialist Independent Marketing Partnership.
The company, which helps practitioners build patient loyalty, said this week it had compiled a brochure to help independents meet this need.
The company has carried out patient satisfaction research, whereby 61 per cent of 9,848 patients agreed opticians should send their patients more information, while 16 per cent disagreed.
With this mind, the latest practice brochure, a sample of which is being sent to independent opticians throughout the UK, explains all the key elements of eye care and eyewear in consumer-friendly language. It is designed to be used with practice recall letters to encourage more appointments and higher value dispensings.
