Brulimar Optical liquidated as part of restructure

Brulimar Optical is liquidated following a major restructuring process

Eyewear supplier Brulimar Optical has been liquidated following a major restructuring process.

The company will now be known as The Eye Station and will allow all customers to buy frames directly from its Chinese factories. This is due to joint venture operations set up between the factories and the company, who as a result will be able to offer eyewear at prices up to 50% lower than what it previously did.

The Eye Station’s managing director Howard Librae said: ‘This all new business model will make The Eye Station ultra-competitive and customers will be able to make a selection from actual frame samples and buy in any quantity. They can even have them branded with their own livery if required.’
