The Manchester-based company has acquired the UK distribution and manufacturing licence from the French fashion group. Howard Librae, Brulimar managing director, said: 'After almost two years of negotiations, we are delighted to have secured this brand. The win also means that we can broaden our target audience as Morgan fashion has a wide appeal from teenagers to the over 30s.' The collection consists of 24 new styles in a variety of different colours. Mr Librae said the acquisition followed major contracts to manufacture official branded eyewear for Barbie, Action Man, Dennis the Menace, Beano and a MCC-approved Lords cricket range. 'As a result of this, and other brand acquisitions, we expect to see our turnover grow by a further 20 per cent over the coming year,' he said. Mr Librae added that the Action Man range, which features frames in camouflage and military colours, would be exhibited at Eyefashion 2000 for the first time. - For further details contact Brulimar on: 0161 872 0190.
