Despite an increase in pressure from competitors such as Tesco, Jamie Murray Wells has stated that his internet company Glasses Direct offers a more complete service than its rivals.
Speaking at a Glasses Direct press event at the Mahiki nightclub in London, the firm's founder said: 'Glasses Direct is trying to develop a rounded proposition. We like to think about the pillars of our service being price, which is what Tesco is all about, but also service, convenience and range supported by knowledge and trust. I don't think Tesco competes with us on all five of those aspects.'
