Contact lens practitioners and educators are prepared for a full week of lectures, workshops, product launches and networking at two flagship industry events in the North West of England.

The now biennial BCLA clinical conference and exhibition will take place from May 29-31 at ACC Liverpool, with 60 CET points available to more than 1,000 expected visitors. A myopia management day has been scheduled by organisers, together with keynote addresses by experts including acanthamoeba keratitis researcher Dr Nicole Carnt and the launch of new multifocal contact lenses.

Preceding this, more than 100 educators from 30 countries head to the University of Manchester from May 24-28, for the third International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) congress. Lectures were also being streamed online for its members to watch remotely.
