ACP Software has updated its C-Spex web-cam frame viewing application to include digital signage (DS) functionality. The DS function, which is activated if the software is idle for a specifiable period of time, allows C-Spex to display digital adverts and video presentations. Practices can display information on health advice, lens options or pre-prepared presentations from manufacturers and distributors.
The DS function is part of a free upgrade, which also includes improvements to the video frame alignment to ensure patients are in the correct position before image capture, extensions to remote control functions and a built-in 'email to customer' function. Practices wishing to trial C-Spex can do so with a free, no obligation 28-day trial.
