There is still time to put your OCT cases forward for the Open OCT surgery sessions being hosted by Optician and Heidelberg Engineering UK at Optrafair.
Last week Optician’s clinical editor, Bill Harvey, outlined the kinds of OCT cases (27.02.15) the panel of experts will be holding peer discussion at Optrafair (April 18-20). Readers have the opportunity to earn peer to peer points by discussing their own cases within the discussion groups. Those interested in taking part in the discussions can register by going to the education section of the www.optrafair.co.uk website. To secure their place those considering submitting an OCT case should also register for one of the sessions. Once the case for discussion has been decided the case should be emailed to william.harvey@rbi.co.uk using the guidelines published in last week’s issue. Each of the sessions will consist of a peer discussion followed by an OCT surgery where leading experts in ophthalmology and medical imaging will offer advice on capture, interpretation and management.
