Carl Zeiss Vision has added new scanning and clinical assessment tools to the the Zeiss Cirrus HD-OCT.
The new Cirrus 8.0 software offers imaging applications for anterior segment, glaucoma and retina.
The Anterior Segment Imaging module includes ChamberView image for a 15.5mm wide view of the entire anterior chamber. HD angle scan allows for a high resolution 6mm angle image, while wide angle-to-angle scan offers dual angle assessment.
PanoMap offers wide-field displays of structural data for the entire posterior pole. RNFL, ONH, and GCA metrics show the extent of structural damage and at-a-glance single display provides insights into early pathologies. This feature is also backwards-compatible as it uses existing macular cube and optic disc cube data to provide a wide-field view of the posterior pole.
