Carl Zeiss Vision adds Trivex lens to range

Zeiss lens manufacturers Carl Zeiss Vision has added a lens made from impact resistant material Trivex to its product range.

Designed to be lightweight for sportswear, rimless frames, child-wear and hazardous environments, the company said the lenses are also ‘extremely resistant to impact, stress and solvents’. The main Zeiss lens designs previously released can be purchased in this strong material.

Carl Zeiss Vision UK marketing and communications director Peter Robertson said: ‘By combining the optical excellence of Zeiss with such a versatile lens material, we are able to satisfy the patient need for durability and optimal visual performance.’
