Sportsmen wearing Carrera ski helmets and goggles, referred to by wintersportswear manufacturer Safilo as the Carrera Ski Racing Team, are all well positioned as the 2008/2009 Ski World Cup enters its final phases.
Swiss-born Carlo Janka and Swede Anja Paerson earned the titles of men's and women's Super Combined World Champions.
Downhill World Champion Michael Walchhofer also achieved a string of outstanding results, finishing 1st in Val Gardena in Italy as well as 3rd in Bormio (Italy) and 2nd in Kitzbuehel (Austria).
After the climax of the Ski World Cup, the Carrera Ski Team trio along with Austrians Andrea Fischbacher and Romed Baumann and the Moelgg brothers Manuela and Manfred will be busily practicing on the pistes for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver.
