Cash for cars to help Fight for Sight charity

Eye research charity Fight for Sight has asked the public to donate old cars to help support eye research as part of an initiative with Giveacar, a non-profit social enterprise which collects unwanted cars for charity.

Cars are collected free-of-charge nationwide by Giveacar, regardless of their condition, then sold through an online auction or disposed of.

Profits from the sale are then donated to a charity of the car owner’s choice. Even if the vehicle is scrapped, it still nets the selected good cause around £35.
