Jonathan Partridge Opticians of Welshpool, Powys has celebrated its 16th anniversary with two awards.
The Investors in People award recognises businesses that 'consistently develop, train and empower individuals within an organisation to reach their full potential'.
'I am immensely proud of our staff, their dedication to the practice and to the service we provide to our patients,' said practice manager Beverly Partridge.
The practice won the 'more patient-orientated' Going for Gold award, introduced by the local health board several years ago, for demonstrating continued development in clinical excellence.
'In 2004 we were the first practice in Wales to obtain bronze accreditation and since then we have been working hard towards the silver standard,' said Jonathan Partridge.
