According to Charmant comfort is one of the main issues of concern for wearers and by modifying the design discomfort can be reduced or eliminated.
The I-nova range uses beta-titanium frame materials, soft grade rubber nose pieces and a range of elastomer temple tips.
The company asked consumer focus groups to assess the product and it claims I-nova consistently outperformed traditional designs.
Nose pieces are available in three shapes to suit the wearer and can be changed by the practice. Temple tips are contoured and fitted by the practice to suit the wearer.
The company has produced a brochure for practitioners outlining the main design highlights, fitting instructions and questions that may be asked by patients.
The range of frames includes a rimless model CH10100 with light pastel colours, square shapes for a modern look, such as CH 10101, a younger rectangular design in CH10102 and oval shapes in a full frame or three piece mount.
