Despite the uncertain economic future, Hong KongÕs Optical Fair achieved a marginal increase in visitor numbers this month.The event, which was held at Hong KongÕs convention and exhibition centre, attracted 6,636 buyers, with 4,142 of those from outside the former colony. The total represented a 1.6 per cent increase over last yearÕs exhibition. The fair recorded a significant increase in visitors from mainland China (up 30 per cent) which helped to boost attendance.
