Church performs opening

Specsavers directors Frank and Laoise Maloney (pictured second and third left) have opened another South Wales practice to add to the two outlets they already run in Cardiff.

The new store in Penarth was established with dispensing partner Pauline O’Neill, left, and has created 11 jobs.

In total £250,000 has been invested in the premises, which houses a Reardons café above the optical practice.

Pop star Charlotte Church, centre, also attended the launch with Reardons café owner Dylan Reardon Smith, and Rachel Hoskins pictured.
