Vision Express has opened a new practice in Yarm five months after its staff pedalled through the North East town on a charity bike ride.
Eye cancer survivor Nicole Beddard (pictured) officially opened the practice, with Yarm admired by executive members of the 40-strong Vision Express crew who cycled through it last year during their ‘Ride4Sight’ to mark 25 years of trading.
Store manager Tony Rhodes (also pictured) said: ‘It was so fitting to have Nicole join us to officially open our new store. The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust is an important part of the store’s story, thanks to the Ride4Sight fundraisers passing through the town on their charity cycle.’
