Ciba Vision Eurologistics in Germany has been shortlisted for the best fast-moving consumer goods and capital goods distributor in the Supply Chain Excellence Awards.
The awards are conducted by Logistics Europe magazine and KPMG Consulting, in association with Exel Logistics and Manugistics. Trends noted among the shortlisted firms were closer working with customers and development of more 'ethical' supply chains. Supply chain managers were extending the scope and breadth of their activities by including sales forecasting and supplier/customer relationships. Winners will be announced in November.
