CIBA Vision launches new Focus Dailies

A new daily disposable contact lens was one of two products announced by CIBA Vision at an event in London this week.

The new Focus Dailies product, with three different additives that act at different periods of the day during wear, will be available before the end of the year.

Air Optix for Astigmatism, a new toric design, is launched on Monday. Professor Des Fonn of the University of Waterloo, Canada and Associate Professor Carol Morris of the Southern Cross University, Australia (pictured) described the new products at a 'Dinner with the Experts', one of eight events to be held at venues across Europe.
