Specsavers managing director John Perkins cut the ribbon to officially open a new practice in Oxford during a circus-themed party day.
The practice, located in Bonn Square, played host to jugglers, stilt walkers, a balloon modeller and a face painter, while money was raised for family charity SSNAP.
Oxford Specsavers store director Abby Jobson said: ‘The new store is proving very popular with customers thanks to interactive waiting areas, a larger specs dispensing area and on-site laboratory. We also have the latest software in optical technology, to link with the store’s tablet computers, making the process of dispensing glasses smoother and quicker.’
