Contact Lens Precision Laboratories (CLPL), the parent company of Ultravision, has acquired Scotlens, the Scottish contact lens manufacturer with expertise in Ortho-K, keratoconus and irregular cornea solutions.
The acquisition was said to combine Ultravision's advanced manufacturing capabilities and global distribution network with Scotlens' clinical expertise and custom-designed lens technologies.
‘Bringing Scotlens into the CLPL family represents a significant step forward in our mission to provide innovative vision solutions for challenging eye conditions,’ said Sarahjane Cross, CEO of CLPL and Ultravision.
