An appeal has been made for research papers on myopia by the research journal of the College of Optometrists.
Ophthalmic and Physiological Optics has called for papers to make up a feature issue called 'Understanding and controlling myopia: where we are now'.
Professor Christine Wildsoet of the University of California Berkeley, Professor Debora Nickla of New England College of Optometry and Dr Jeremy Guggenheim of Cardiff University have been named as guest editors. Professor David Elliott, editor in chief of OPO, said: 'We invite authors to send us articles on myopia, to add to the growing body of research material available to optometrists, ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals concerned with the development, use and restoration of vision.'
