A new leaflet on presbyopia has been launched by the College of Optometrists to help practitioners explain the condition to their patients.
The publication adds to its range of patient leaflets covering ageing eyes and falls, blepharitis, cataracts, flashes and floaters, glaucoma, macular degeneration and children's eye health.
It is available for members to order online, alongside a short leaflet written for primary school pupils on how the eye works, activity sheets and stickers for children.
College leaflets were first launched in June 2011 to provide practical advice and guidance to patients. Since then more than 1.8 million have been ordered by its members.
