One year on since optometrists gained access to a wider range of ocular drugs, the College of Optometrists is to survey members on the current scope of therapeutic practice.

UK-based College members will be invited to take part in the online survey, which has been produced in collaboration with The Centre for Allied Health Professions Research at City University.

Questions will cover the ocular conditions optometrists currently manage and pharmaceutical agents used, as well as their plans for prescriber training. The survey will also seek views on the frequency and quality of feedback following referral to other primary eye care providers.
