College seeks career insights

The College of Optometrists is calling for optometrists to take part in its optometric workforce survey.

The survey is intended to gather detailed information about patterns of practice, training and experience, and career paths to provide a valuable insight into the profession.

Mike Bowen, head of research at the College, said: 'It is crucial that as many College members as possible complete the survey, as this will allow us to draw an accurate picture of the current optometric profession, one that can be used to understand the most important challenges the workforce is now facing.'
