A three-year plan to set out key objectives has been published by the College of Optometrists.
It has been compiled in conjunction with stakeholders and senior management.
A key priority highlighted in the Strategic Plan for 2008 -2011 includes focusing on qualifications, increasing scope and expanding routes to fellowship.
In terms of member services, the report outlines plans to provide support for innovation in practice and increasing the activity of practices. This will include identifying gaps in the College's provision in this area.
