Community leaders welcome Newmedica to Norwich

While open since November 2021, Covid delayed the official launch

Community leaders officially opened a Newmedica eye clinic and surgery centre in Norwich with Councillor Roger Foulger, chairman of Broadland District Council, and Dame Mary Perkins, co-founder of Specsavers, attending the event.

Karen Hansed, operations director at the Newmedica clinic, Norwich, said: ‘I’d like to thank our team for making our patients feel so welcome and special from day one. All of our consultant ophthalmology partners live locally and are available for any post-operative care needed by our patients. They all have strong links with the NHS in the county.
