Norfolk MP visits Newmedica clinic

North Norfolk MP Duncan Baker attended the Norwich Newmedica clinic to discuss the impact of speedy access to ophthalmology services on the community and meet patients. 

Karen Croker, director of contracting at Newmedica, said: ‘We valued the opportunity to speak to Duncan about how Newmedica plays a part in the local health economy, including delivering specialist training for the ophthalmologists of the future. It is vital that the government continues to give ophthalmology the attention it deserves, and we look forward to continuing working closely with the NHS on these issues.’ 

Operations director Karen Hansed said they welcomed the opportunity to show MP Baker the different treatment pathways and surgeries carried out at the clinic.
