A group of eye care professionals were told compliance was the key to preventing contact lens drop-outs at a recent event organised by CIBA Vision.
The contact lens company's first Power of One event of 2012 at the Hilton Hotel, London, attracted 70 delegates earlier this month.
Jayne Schofield, CIBA Vision clinical affairs manager, said: 'Compliance is key to improved comfort, better vision and subsequent successful contact lens wear. Non-compliance is associated with increased patient discomfort, a major reason for patient drop-out, the impact of which on business can be significant.'
