Conlons Opticians director Peter Barton took the opportunity to play ladies world number two squash player Laura Massaro during a charity day in Merseyside.
Massaro visited Heswall Squash Club to help host an event sponsored by the independent chain in aid of 25-year-old Mia Austin, who has had locked-in syndrome for the past four years and needed a new laptop.
Barton said: ‘At Conlons we have a great team of staff and take great pride in supporting local events and charities such as this. We are thrilled to have been able to sponsor Heswall Squash Club and it was a great honour to meet Laura Massaro and for a number of Heswall players to get to watch and play with her.’
