Consultancy gets optical division

Beresford Blake Thomas, the health and social care recruitment consultancy has appointed Bobby Sproston to develop its optical division.

He will recruit specifically for opticians, dispensing opticians, contact lens fitters, optical technicians, optical assistants and practice managers on a locum and permanent basis in all areas of the UK.

Sproston said: 'We will focus on developing strong relationships with key industry people to help them overcome any candidate shortages.'
He added that the recruitment company would also be involved in a lot of new business development and was approaching large multiples with a view to becoming a preferred supplier.
