CooperVision reveals patient story competition winner

Over the last six weeks, Coopervision has asked ECPs to submit their patients’ most inspiring life enhancing contact lens stories for the chance to have their patient’s story brought to life in the form of a video case study, plus the opportunity to experience a full delegate package at the BCLA conference in Liverpool this weekend.

The winning entry came from Vicki Macken for her story on patient Heidi Smith (pictured). Smith suffered chronic uveitis, resulting in her being a true aphake in her right eye.

Judges said the entry was a true reflection of how eye care practitioners had the power to completely transform lives through their expertise in prescribing contact lenses for their patients.
