Contact lens manufacturer CooperVision has spoken of its successful attendance and last month’s British Contact Lens Association clinical conference and exhibition at the ICC Birmingham.
Commenting on the show, managing director for the UK and Ireland, Nigel Mallinson said: ‘Our focus at this year’s BCLA was “Imagine meeting every need, imagine delighting every patient.” Through a great line up of key speakers and Ask-the-Expert sessions, CooperVision’s outstanding product range and added-value services were showcased.
‘We were extremely pleased with the delegate feedback and engagement, including passionate dialogue on how contact lenses can make such a difference to patients’ lives. The importance of patient retention and practice loyalty was high on delegates’ minds – and is a key focus for CooperVision as it looks to support practitioners and their patients by meeting every need.’
Throughout the event, CooperVision conducted what it called the ‘Delight Experiment,’ in which all delegates were invited to provide their prescription so that the company could see what percentage of vision correction needs it catered for. Every practitioner that supplied their details had an option in the CL product portfolio and 100 per cent coverage messages were beamed around the exhibition hall.
