Cubitts 10-year archive collection releases

Frames

Eyewear company Cubitts has celebrated its 10th anniversary with the release of a limited-edition archive made up of ten frames.

The 10 frames, which are no longer in production, have been saved from unneeded stock from each of its collections throughout the last 10 years and would be available online between March 28 and April 14.

The brand said: ‘It’s an antidote to modern throwaway culture and as a celebration of its design history.’

Frames included the angular Balfour, the eye-catching Camley; the ‘crown panto’ Cromer; the Jackie O-inspired frame Drummond; the geometric Everilda in thick acetate; the feminine Lavina; the thick, square frame Leirum; as well as Penron, Penryn and Wharfdale. Each would be available in four colours for £100.00 with a prescription and £75.00 without.
