The funeral of David Challinor, former Optician news editor and editor of OT, will take place on June 18 at 2pm. The service will be held at Clandon Wood, Epsom Road, West Clandon, Guildford, GU4 7TT.
Tributes have poured in for Challinor who died on May 29 following a heart attack. He was the news editor of Optician from 1996 until 2006, before becoming the editor of OT. He left OT in 2012 and had recently secured an editorship in London.
Flowers are welcome at the funeral or donations to the British Heart Foundation.
