Two David Clulow practices were broken into in a week, the latest in a spate of raids targeting the high-street chain.
The most recent raid was on April 17, when 58 Chanel and Prada frames were stolen from the Soho branch in a 2am smash and grab, with the thieves escaping on mopeds. The previous evening 256 sunglasses were taken from locked cupboards in the Hampstead practice.
On March 27, 43 Chanel frames were taken from David Clulow in Covent Garden.
The Soho and Covent Garden practices, along with the Loughton store, have been raided on multiple occasions.
David Clulow managing director Richard Peck commented: 'It is such a shame that these thieves are targeting our stores and is extremely disheartening for store managers affected.' Peck pointed out that in most cases the amount of damage done to the stores far outweighed the cost of frames taken.
