Northamptonshire-based Davis Optometrists celebrated its 60th anniversary in September with a party and cake cutting ceremony at its Kettering practice.
Rodney Davis founded the independent and grew it to multiple locations in the area, all with a focus on advanced eye care and exceptional patient service.
Rodney’s children, Kim and Jeremy, and family friend Nick Carson joined the practice in 1980 and maintained its reputation for investing in the latest optical innovations, such as Optomap in 2002 and ocular coherence tomography in 2009.
Kim Durden (née Davis), partner at Davis Optometrists, said: ‘Our father, Rodney, laid the foundation of this practice with a vision for advanced eye care and a deep commitment to our community. It's truly remarkable to see how much we've grown and adapted over the years while staying true to those principles.
