Daybreak adds to care story

Children's vision was featured on ITV's breakfast television show Daybreak this week.

Mother Deborah Harnwell told how she had taken her son Joshua for an eye exam at Essex practice Patrick and Menzies after he complained of flashing in his eyes.

Optometrist Polly Dulley, from Aves Optometrists in Epping, was also interviewed on the show by presenters Adrian Chiles and Kate Garraway.

Coverage of the children's vision debate has also spread across radio stations including Sky News Radio, BBC Midlands, Swansea Sound and Express FM in Hampshire, according to Sight Care.

Optometrists Gavin Rebello and Daska Barnett from Specs of Kensington were interviewed as part of the campaign.
