Gavin Rebello has taken up the role of chairman at Sight Care Group.
A partner at Essex-based Patrick and Menzies, Rebello joined the Sight Care board in 2008 and was elected deputy chairman in 2010.
He said: 'Since first joining Patrick and Menzies I have valued and thoroughly enjoyed the clinical and commercial independence of practice life. I believe there is a strongly held understanding in the profession that the independent sector excels in the service, product supply and expertise we offer our clients.'
Rebello replaces David Samuel following his three-year term in office.
